UI Designer (Work from Home)

About the Role As a UI Designer at Frost, you'll transform ideas into polished, intuitive, and production-ready digital experiences for web and mobile applications. Working alongside UX Designers, Developers, and Project Managers, you'll craft visually engaging interfaces that balance aesthetics, usability, and technical feasibility. You'll play a key role in shaping the visual language of our digital products by creating high-fidelity interfaces, scalable design systems, and reusable components while ensuring consistency across every touchpoint. Beyond interface design, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle—from concept to implementation—to deliver exceptional user experiences. Key ResponsibilitiesUser Interface Design Design high-fidelity user interfaces, interactive prototypes, user flows, and screen states for responsive web and mobile applications. Create responsive layouts and scalable design variants across multiple devices and screen sizes. Produce production-ready design files with organized layers, reusable components, Auto Layout, variables, and consistent naming conventions. Ensure pixel-perfect execution while maintaining accessibility and usability best practices. Design Systems & Visual Language Build, maintain, and continuously improve reusable UI components and design systems. Develop and document style guides covering typography, color palettes, spacing, iconography, grids, and component libraries. Ensure visual consistency across products through standardized design patterns and reusable assets. Continuously refine existing products to improve usability, scalability, and visual quality. Visual Design Design digital assets including icons, illustrations, graphics, marketing materials, and presentation visuals. Explore creative concepts through mood boards, design explorations, visual studies, and branding exercises. Support occasional print and marketing design requirements when needed. Collaboration Partner with UX Designers, Developers, Project Managers, and stakeholders to translate business and user requirements into engaging interface solutions. Participate in design critiques, sprint planning, Agile ceremonies, and collaborative workshops. Support developers during implementation by conducting design QA and ensuring designs are accurately translated into production. Contribute ideas that improve workflows, design quality, and overall product experience. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Arts, Graphic Design, Information Technology, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. At least 1 year of professional experience in UI Design, Product Design, or Visual Design. Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality digital interface design and visual problem-solving. Advanced proficiency in Figma , including Auto Layout, Components, Variables, Responsive Design, and Design Systems. Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator . Solid understanding of typography, color theory, layout, spacing, visual hierarchy, and accessibility standards. Experience designing responsive web applications and native mobile interfaces. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering clean, consistent, and production-ready designs. Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills. Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn new tools and technologies. Nice to Have Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments. Familiarity with motion design or prototyping tools. Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and front-end implementation. Experience creating or maintaining design systems. Exposure to AI-assisted design tools and workflow automation. Why Join Frost?
