Freshly Picked is seeking a creative, trend-savvy, and idea driven contract graphic designer (remote) to support our ecommerce/marketing, social, and creative teams. Resumes without portfolios will not be considered. Key Responsibilities Design engaging email layouts for promotions, campaigns, and customer education (coding experience not necessary) Design graphics, website banners, and digital ads to support marketing campaigns Design and schedule captivating, on-brand content for social platforms including static posts, GIFs, stories, and reels Qualifications 2+ years of experience in graphic design or digital marketing Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Marketing, or related work experience Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Canva, Adobe Photoshop a plus, but not necessary Copywriting experience a plus Understanding of typography, composition, and color theory in a digital space Ability to create beautiful and exciting content that is aligned with the existing visual brand language Ability to take regular feedback and implement quickly into designs Ability to keep up with trends on social media and turnover content before it’s no longer relevant Must be able to be flexible and create quickly, things can change very quickly in the ecommerce world Passion for celebrating moms and kiddos is a plus! This is a temporary contract to cover an employee’s maternity leave. Position will be hourly with a guaranteed 25 hours a week with potential for more hours. The contract will last from mid-August through the end of November, approximately. Candidates will ideally be able to work on MDT time, but there is some flexibility.
