Sr. Motion Graphics Designer

POSITION SUMMARY: The Sr. Motion Graphics Designer will drive the visual storytelling of the brand and have a passion for creating captivating animations that engage audiences. In this role, the Sr. Motion Graphics Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing innovative motion graphics for a variety of projects, including digital media, advertising campaigns, and video content. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Drive the creative team to conceptualize and brainstorm ideas Drive preparation, attendance, and contributions to all planning & development meetings for assigned projects Understands and applies our standardized creative process to deliver motion graphics (Style frames, storyboarding, animatic, production, rendering, editing/compositing) Integrates with and bridges communications throughout department Influential voice throughout creative development + production process Brings fresh and creative ideas/references/mood boards to brainstorms and pitch meetings Receives, interprets, and applies leadership feedback in timely and effective manner Stays up-to-date on industry trends, new technologies, and emerging design techniques Efficiently manages time to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work Prioritizes tasks and projects based on urgency and importance Conduct thorough reviews of animations to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies Ensure that the final product meets quality standards and client expectations Provide mentorship and leadership for Motion Graphics Designer and Jr. Motion Graphics Designer SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Strong communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment. Must possess a high degree of technical proficiency when utilizing video editing tools and platforms. Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing departmental tools and platforms, adhering to rigorous technical and procedural standards. Self-motivated, ambitious, and demonstrates an eagerness to learn. Demonstrated proficiency in building, leading and developing individuals and teams. Demonstrated ability to work in high-pressure, quick turn situations and long-term projects Ability to apply Brand standards consistently within all aspects of production Emphasis on creative substance, execution, and efficiency in workflow on high-profile projects Demonstrate an open mind when it comes to creating work. Ability to see projects from the perspective of the end user. Encourages others to elevate their work.
