Production & Graphic Designer– Travel & Tourism Publications Do you love magazine design, visual storytelling, and creating engaging publications that inspire people to explore new places? We are seeking a skilled Graphic Designer with editorial and publication experience to help produce multiple travel, tourism, and lifestyle publications across print and digital platforms. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial publishing environment where adaptability, communication, and meeting deadlines are essential. What You’ll Do Design and layout multiple tourism and lifestyle publications for print and digital distribution Create polished advertiser layouts and make revisions based on client feedback Collaborate with editorial, sales, and marketing teams to produce cohesive, visually engaging publications Maintain consistent visual standards, typography, and layout quality across multiple titles Prepare print-ready production files and assist with publication proofing and deadline management Organize and manage multiple active projects and production timelines Design supporting promotional graphics for web and social media when needed What We’re Looking For 4+ years of professional graphic design experience Strong editorial, magazine, newspaper, tourism, or publication design background preferred Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator Strong typography, layout, and production skills Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a remote environment Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to handle revisions, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently during publication cycles Comfortable working quickly and accurately through ad revisions, proof corrections, production deadlines, and multiple active publications Preferred Experience Applicants with experience in: Magazine or newspaper production Visitor guides or tourism publications Advertising layout design Print production workflows Small team or entrepreneurial publishing environments ****PORTFOLIO REQUIRED**** are strongly encouraged to apply. Position Details Contract / Freelance Position Approximately 20–25 hours per week average Flexible scheduling based around publication deadlines Consistent monthly work with increased hours during active publication cycles Remote work available Compensation $30–37 per hour depending on experience.
