📄Description
Product Concept Designer (AI-Powered Visual Development) – Preschool ToysContract / Project-Based Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Product Concept Designer to support the development of innovative preschool toy concepts for a major U.S. retail customer. This role combines product thinking, visual storytelling, and AI-assisted concept generation to help bring ideas to life ahead of an important buyer milestone review. This is not a prompt-writing or image-generation-only role. We are looking for someone who can develop thoughtful product concepts, build cohesive themes, and communicate ideas visually in a way that resonates with retail buyers and consumers. Project Overview Our team is preparing for a milestone review with Walmart's Private Label team and needs to present 26 product concepts across 13 SKUs. Walmart has already provided visual references and mood boards; however, our goal is to go beyond those references and deliver concepts that feel more intentional, commercially viable, and thoughtfully developed. You will work closely with the Project Lead to transform initial inspiration into polished concept directions suitable for presentation to a major U.S. retailer. Key Responsibilities Develop 2 unique product concepts for each of 13 SKUs (26 concepts total) Translate Walmart-provided mood boards and visual references into more refined, buyer-ready concept directions Use AI visual generation tools and design expertise to create compelling concept visuals Apply product-thinking principles to ensure concepts are functional, age-appropriate, and commercially relevant Create visual outputs using a combination of AI-generated imagery, concept renderings, and sketch-style ideation where appropriate Collaborate closely with the Project Lead and incorporate feedback throughout the development process Deliver high-quality work within a compressed project timeline Required Skills & Experience Strong proficiency with AI-powered creative tools such as ChatGPT Image Generation, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, or similar platforms Ability to develop product concepts —not simply generate images from prompts Experience creating visual concepts for consumer products, toys , children's products , or retail merchandise Strong understanding of U.S. retail trends and customer expectations, particularly within mass-market retail environments Excellent English communication skills , both written and verbal Ability to work independently , make informed design decisions, and meet tight deadlines Highly Preferred Direct experience within the preschool toy category Understanding of child development stages and age-appropriate product design Knowledge of what appeals to both preschool children and purchasing parents at retail Experience developing products for Walmart, Target, or other major U.S. retailers Familiarity with cost-conscious product development and manufacturing considerations Digital sketching capabilities using tools such as Procreate, Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar software What Success Looks Like We're looking for someone who can quickly immerse themselves in the category and contribute meaningful product thinking from day one. Given the short timeline leading up to the buyer review, category experience—particularly within preschool toys—is essential. The ideal candidate can balance creativity, commercial awareness, and practical product development considerations while producing presentation-ready concepts that elevate the original Walmart references and demonstrate clear market potential. Pay: From Php70,000.00 per month Benefits: Work from home Application Question(s): Please share your portfolio link, ideally highlighting your AI-assisted/generated product designs for kid's toys or other relevant products. Experience: Product Design: 3 years (Required) Work Location: Remote
