About The Role
The UX team at Rightway is dedicated to creating intuitive and engaging digital experiences that enhance patient care and support members' pharmacy needs throughout their healthcare journey. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Lead Product Designer to influence product strategy and design across web and mobile platforms. As a key member of a small, full-stack design and research team, you will lead end-to-end product design initiatives, from user research and discovery to final UI implementation. Your work will directly impact the development of innovative solutions, including a member engagement platform, by translating research insights into compelling, accessible designs that meet diverse user needs.
This is a leadership role that requires high ownership, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguity. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, stakeholders, and your design teammates to craft seamless user experiences. The position is remote, preferably aligned with EST hours, requiring availability for 9 am EST calls. The role offers a platform to shape healthcare design, drive innovation, and deliver meaningful impact in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

- •8+ years of experience designing UX/UI for web and mobile products
- •4+ years in a senior or lead design role
- •Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design thinking, UX research, and visual excellence
- •Strong qualitative and quantitative user and market research skills
- •Proficiency with Figma and modern AI-enhanced design tools
- •Experience with vibe coding solutions such as Figma Make/Lovable
- •Expertise in usability testing and methods like Jobs To Be Done (JTBD)
- •Solid understanding of information architecture, microcopy, and content strategy
- •Ability to analyze and position data to tell compelling stories and set strategic direction
- •Excellent communication, facilitation, and influencing skills
- •Self-starter with high initiative and comfort operating in ambiguity
- •Degree in UX, HCI, Human Factors, Psychology, Visual Design, or related field (preferred)
- •Healthcare industry experience (preferred)
- •Experience designing engagement or communication products (preferred)
- •Background in business analysis, requirements gathering, or product management (preferred)
- •Lead end-to-end product design, owning the UX/UI process for assigned products and evolving existing design methodologies
- •Champion UX research by conducting user and stakeholder interviews, usability testing, and iterative validation to generate actionable insights
- •Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and high-quality deliverables
- •Leverage AI tools to accelerate design synthesis, explore alternatives, and prototype efficiently
- •Design final or near-final engaging screens that are visually appealing and user-friendly
- •Work closely with engineering teams during implementation to ensure polished, high-quality execution
- •Prioritize accessibility and inclusive design, adhering to WCAG standards to meet diverse member needs
- •Lead collaborative sessions to foster creativity, clarity, and team alignment on product vision and design direction
- •Drive innovation by exploring new paradigms and integrating emerging technologies into the design process
- •Communicate design concepts effectively to stakeholders and team members, influencing decision-making and strategic planning
- •Competitive salary range of $140,000 - $160,000, commensurate with experience and location
