As a UI/UX Designer , you will support complex initiatives across their lifecycle by bringing structure, clarity, and a human-centered perspective to how problems are understood and addressed. What you'll do: Lead discovery efforts to identify user needs, pain points, requirements, and business objectives. Plan and facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, and working sessions to drive alignment and clarity. Translate ambiguous problem spaces into clearly defined problem statements and priorities. Communicate design intent, requirements, and constraints effectively to technical, non-technical, and leadership audiences. Present findings, recommendations, and design concepts to stakeholders in a clear, inclusive manner. Synthesize research and discovery findings to produce actionable artifacts (e.g. affinity diagrams, service design diagrams, and customer journey maps). Develop wireframes to explore solutions and gather early feedback. Advocate for user-centered design practices and contribute to the team's growth in discovery and design methodologies. Demonstrate curiosity and a growth mindset by continuously learning new tools, methods, and domain knowledge to improve discovery and design outcomes. What you'll need to succeed: An active Secret security Clearance. BA/BS degree. 3+ years of relevant experience Proven experience leading discovery and requirements gathering activities. Proficiency in creating design artifacts using tools such as Figma, Miro, or similar. Experience with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Miro, Sketch). Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting in and leading meetings. SALARY RANGE: $119,000 - $128,000 The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience.
