SR PCB Designer

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced PCB design professional to contribute to the development of high-performance electronic boards used in complex, high-reliability applications. In this role, you will design and optimize printed circuit boards that meet strict mechanical, electrical, RF, and manufacturing requirements. You will collaborate closely with customers and cross-functional engineering teams in a highly interactive, remote environment. The position requires strong technical ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple demanding projects simultaneously. You will play a key role in ensuring design quality, on-time delivery, and continuous improvement of engineering processes. This role is ideal for someone passionate about advanced PCB layout, precision engineering, and customer-focused design excellence. Accountabilities Design and develop printed circuit boards that meet or exceed mechanical, electrical, RF, and manufacturing requirements for complex engineering projects. Collaborate with customers and internal engineering teams to ensure design alignment, clarity of requirements, and successful project execution. Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while ensuring on-time delivery and proactive communication of progress and risks. Apply creativity and technical expertise to solve complex PCB layout challenges and support schedule-intensive or high-complexity designs. Use advanced PCB design tools such as Cadence Allegro or Siemens Xpedition to execute high-quality layout work. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve design and project issues throughout the development lifecycle. Maintain accurate documentation, including time tracking, project updates, and quality review inputs via internal systems. Act as a customer advocate, supporting business growth by ensuring design excellence and strong client relationships. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred, or minimum 12+ years of hands-on PCB design and layout experience. Expert-level proficiency in PCB layout techniques with strong understanding of mechanical, electrical (RF and mixed-signal), and manufacturing constraints. Advanced experience using industry-standard tools such as Cadence Allegro or Siemens Xpedition. Strong knowledge of IPC standards and best practices in PCB design and manufacturing. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with customers and engineering teams. Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization abilities in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. Demonstrated ability to manage complex PCB projects independently while maintaining high quality and accuracy.
