About the role We’re hiring a Senior Product Designer to join a high-ownership design trio with real influence over what ships. You’ll design trading experiences across Matcha.xyz (our flagship consumer DEX aggregator) and the 0x Dashboard (B2B portal for our API customers), and help shape the next iteration of 0x.org - setting a design direction, experimenting with micro-animations, and even have fun coding it if that’s what you enjoy. Focus is roughly ~2/3 product and ~1/3 website. Who you are You’re a Senior Product Designer with a high bar for craft and UX - pixel-perfect UI, clean interactions, strong product judgment, and strong visual instincts. You turn complex problems into simple, high-quality experiences that drive clarity, trust, and adoption across product and brand. You’re comfortable designing high-stakes flows and excited to work in crypto . Bonus if you’ve shipped in this space and understand onchain UX realities like wallet states, approvals, slippage, and the full transaction lifecycle. You care about the small details that make a product feel fast, trustworthy, and easy to use. Responsibilities - What you’ll do Design new features and refine the core trading experience across Matcha and the 0x Dashboard Be the de facto owner of 0x.org’s design direction, partnering with the marketing team to shape and ship new web experiences Turn product goals into clear, usable interfaces that improve speed, clarity, and trust Create high-quality UI and interactive prototypes; use motion when it helps to test ideas and align teams fast Partner closely with engineering through build and QA to ship pixel-perfect work Use lightweight user research to uncover friction, validate direction, and find opportunities Evolve the 0x + Matcha visual language across product and brand touchpoints Improve team workflows using AI and emerging tools to speed iteration and raise quality Requirements 5+ years product design experience with a track record of shipping successful products (ideally in crypto) A portfolio showing strong UX, high craft UI, and interaction design skills with a high bar for quality Experience designing high-stakes user flows where clarity and trust matter (e.g., trading, payments, transfers, etc.) Fluent in Figma and prototyping Strong product thinking: you can prioritize, define constraints, and make clear tradeoffs Experience working end-to-end (discovery ideation design handoff QA) and partnering closely with product + engineering in fast iteration cycles You care about quality and user impact, and you practice As little design as possible - simple, intentional, and holistic Exhibit our core values: do the right thing, consistently ship, and focus on long-term impact Able to attend annual in-person team offsites around the globe Nice to have DeFi/TradFi product experience Experience using AI tools to speed up iteration (e.g., Cursor/Claude) and collaborate on frontend details Cross-platform design instincts across product, brand, and marketing BENEFITS Comprehensive insurance (medical/dental/vision/life/disability) for U.S.-based employees — 100% of base plan covered for you and dependents 401k and FSA for U.S.-based employees Monthly mobile phone bill, wellness, and pre-tax transportation expense Covered mental health benefits (included professional therapy sessions) A supportive remote environment Lunch reimbursement for all employees across the globe!
