What You'll Do: Component Development: Design and develop reusable components, ensuring they are accessible, scalable, and aligned with best practices. Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with product and design teams, fostering an environment where creativity meets technology. Your collaborative spirit will be key in creating designs that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Design system & Storybook management: Participate in release management and design audits, ensuring projects stay on schedule and meet quality standards. Engage in upgrading older design systems, ensuring a smooth transition to more modern and efficient versions. Documentation and Governance: Contribute to the documentation of Storybook usage guidelines and best practices for managing a multi-brand design system. Who You Are: A senior UX engineer with a proven track record in delivering successful design components. A passionate problem solver, adept at breaking down complex challenges and crafting innovative solutions. A team player who thrives in collaborative settings, eager to work alongside colleagues from various disciplines. An excellent communicator, capable of articulating design concepts clearly to both clients and team members. Proficient in design tools like Figma. Proficient in modern technologies such as React, TypeScript, and CSS architecture. Knowledgeable about accessibility standards, including ARIA. Fluent in advanced English. Requirements: Minimum of five years of relevant industry experience, with at least three years in a role involving the creation and management of design systems. Your experience must demonstrate excellence in: Developing and delivering components for successful digital products. A deep understanding of UX/UI strategies and techniques. Effective collaboration with internal and external teams to ensure designs meet business and user needs. Unit testing and Storybook management.
