Designer and Associate Product Owner

We are seeking an Associate Product Owner to support the continuous improvement, usability, and success of our digital products and internal platforms. This role combines UI/UX design expertise with product ownership support, user testing, stakeholder collaboration, and coordination with development teams. The Associate Product Owner will play a key role in understanding user needs, improving product experiences, validating product enhancements, and ensuring that product initiatives align with business objectives. The role will continue to contribute to UI/UX design activities while also supporting product planning, enhancement initiatives, and ongoing product improvements. Key ResponsibilitiesUI/UX Design Responsibilities Design user-centered interfaces and experiences that align with business objectives and user needs. Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, mockups, and design specifications for web and mobile applications. Conduct user research, usability testing, and user experience evaluations. Gather and analyze user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of design requirements. Maintain consistency across design systems, user interfaces, and user experience standards. Utilize AI-powered design tools to improve design efficiency and innovation. Stay updated on design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UI/UX design. Product Ownership & Product Improvement Responsibilities Support the ownership and continuous improvement of assigned digital products and internal platforms. Gather and analyze user feedback, business requirements, and enhancement requests. Review product functionality and recommend usability, workflow, and process improvements. Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate product enhancements, bug fixes, and new releases. Monitor product issues, track enhancement requests, and coordinate resolutions with development teams. Collaborate with stakeholders, users, and developers to ensure successful implementation of product initiatives. Assist in documenting product requirements, workflows, user stories, and improvement recommendations. Support product planning, feature enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives. Utilize approved AI-powered tools and technologies to support product enhancement and innovation efforts. Act as a bridge between users, stakeholders, and development teams to ensure products continue to meet business and user needs. Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in UI/UX Design, Product Design, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. Experience in UI/UX design, product support, product coordination, or a related role. Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar platforms. Understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices. Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify improvement opportunities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and business stakeholders. Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or product development methodologies is an advantage. Experience using AI-powered productivity, design, or product management tools is an advantage.
